Mr. Eric Rosenbaum is the President and CEO of Project Renewal, a leading New York City home- less services nonprofit agency. Project Renewal’s mission is to end the cycle of homelessness by empowering individuals and families to renew their lives with health, homes and jobs, and serves over 13,000 individuals annually who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across NYC. This mission compels Project Renewal to work with people challenged by mental illness, substance use, and histories of incarceration. We work closely with our clients through a continuum of care that includes quality housing, health care, and workforce development services.
Mr. Rosenbaum served for 10 years as COO of Win, Inc., a provider of family homeless shelters and family supportive housing. In addition to Vital Strategies, he sits on several boards, including the Center for the Business of Health at UNC Chapel Hill, and Reconstructing Judaism. He is the former president of CBST, the world’s largest LGBTQ synagogue. In addition to his nonprofit experience, he has more than two decades of experience in corporate management, working for companies such as Colgate-Palmolive for 10 years (including three years managing Colgate’s supply chain in Mumbai, India), and as a management consultant in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology with Arthur D. Little, Inc. He earned his M.S. in public health and his MBA from UNC Chapel Hill, and his B.A. in biology from UCLA.
